Senior Musicians!
Each year the Maple Grove Senior High Music Boosters awards several scholarships to senior musicians in band, choir, and orchestra. In 2024, the Boosters will award six $500 scholarships. Students do not need to pursue music in college to be eligible.
Applications will be available to students in March and an anonymous committee of parents with students who are not seniors will review them in April. Recipients are announced during spring concerts.

We are Looking for Evaluation Committee Volunteers
Duties include
Read applications and rate them based on a common scale
One or two meetings with committee to discuss ratings and recipients
Your involvement is confidential
Interested parents of a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade musician are encouraged to contact boosters below to become a member of this selection committee. Applicants remain confidential to selection committee.
How much time does it take?
Prep
We know your time is precious. This volunteer position requires just a couple hours’ time and can be done on your own time.
Selection Process
Committee members evaluate each application and essay and score points based on a common scale.
Then What?
Once recipients are chosen, that information is given to the booster board for presentation. Winners are announced at respective final spring concerts.
